This was a site that was developed for the York University Sport Parachute Club (YUSPC) in the summer of 2005. It was jointly built by myself and the other webmaster at the time, Richard Adams. The club desperately needed a new site as the previous one was extremely dated and there was no easy way of updating it. The new site was designed to be dynamic in that non web user should find it easy to update through the use of an admin section.

Some key features of the site include a 5-day weather forecast using data obtained from weather.com in an XML feed, integration of the phpBB forum software and the coppermine photo gallery. A fair amount of customisation to the integrated software was done to make it fit into the site including the addition of personal skydiving statistics which could be viewed on a members progression page. Additionally the forum and photo galleries were integrated into the home page to make the latest updates immediately visible.

The site can be accessed here, but as I have since left the club I am no longer in charge of making updates to the site.
